M Kandhasamy Stores

M Kandhasamy Stores has been sitting on Alagar Kovil Main Road for quite some time now. We are located in K Pudhur, very close to the bus stand, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving about. The shop is full of all sorts of things you might need for the house. We have bags of rice, lentils, and small items that people realize they forgot to buy elsewhere. It gets very crowded in the evenings when everyone is getting off the bus and trying to get home. We don't have a lot of space to move around inside because we try to keep a lot of stock ready. Sometimes the boxes are just stacked in the corners. It is a family thing, so you will usually see one of us behind the counter from early morning until we close late at night. The ceiling fan makes a bit of noise, and the lights are sometimes a little dim, but it works for us. We know most of the people who live in the streets nearby. They come in to chat as much as they do to buy stuff. We don't really use computers or anything high-tech for our accounts; it’s mostly just notebooks and pens. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it has kept us going all these years. We just focus on keeping the shelves full and helping whoever walks through the door.
