Lucky Opticals

Lucky Opticals has been sitting at No. 105 in the Ashok Complex for quite a while now. We are on the 2nd Main Road in Jainhindpuram, which is usually a pretty lively spot to be. If you come by in the afternoon, the sun hits the front windows directly, so we have to keep the shutters halfway down sometimes just to stay cool. It’s a small shop, but we’ve managed to fit a lot of frames and eye-testing gear into the space over the years. Most of our days are spent talking to people from the neighborhood about their glasses or helping them pick out something that doesn't look too bad on their face. It’s not a high-end boutique or anything like that; it’s just a regular optical shop where we try to be helpful to everyone who walks in. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for specific lenses to arrive from our suppliers, and we have to call the customers to let them know. We have an old clock on the wall that ticks a bit too loudly, but nobody who visits ever seems to mind much. The Ashok Complex has a few other shops, so there is always someone coming or going nearby. We don’t have any fancy marketing plans or big slogans. We just open up in the morning, clean the glass cases, and wait for the first person to walk in. It’s been our routine for years, and we’re quite comfortable with the way things are in Jainhindpuram. That is about all there is to say about us really.
