Our office for Legrand(India)Pvt.Ltd is located at 12/22, Commendingofficer 2nd Lane, right off Westmasi Street in Madurai. If you know Madurai, you know Westmasi Street is always crowded and full of life. It’s a narrow lane to get here, and it can be a bit of a squeeze if two bikes are trying to pass each other. We’ve been here for some time now. The building is older, with high ceilings and that specific smell of old paper and stone. We don’t have a flashy entrance. Most people just walk in and see us sitting at our desks. It’s a busy place because of where we are. There is always noise from the street, vendors shouting, and the hum of traffic. At Legrand(India)Pvt.Ltd, we don't have many formal rules about how the office looks. We just keep it functional. We usually have a lot of tea and coffee throughout the day to keep us going. The 625001 area is the heart of the town, so everything we need is just a short walk away. Sometimes we have to move boxes around to make space for a meeting, but we don't mind. It feels like a real workplace, not a showroom. We do our work, talk to the locals, and deal with the heat like everyone else in Madurai. It’s just a normal office in a very old, busy street.
