Kotra Ramaiah & Co. is located at Dr. No. 17/151 in the Main Bazar. Being right in the District Head Quarter means there is never a dull moment. The bazar is the heart of the town, and our building has been part of this landscape for a long time. It’s a traditional setup, the kind where you see a lot of activity right from the crack of dawn. We deal with a lot of different things, and the shop is usually filled with the sound of people talking and the rustling of heavy bags being moved around. The walls have been painted a few times over the years, but you can still feel the age of the place. We don't have a modern showroom or anything; it’s more about the crates, the scales, and the ledger books. People come from all over the district to buy things here, so we meet a lot of different characters every day. It gets incredibly hot in the afternoons, but we have a couple of old ceiling fans that keep the air moving at least a little bit. By the time we close the doors in the evening, the street outside is finally starting to quiet down. We take a bit of pride in just being a reliable spot in the middle of all the bazar chaos. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do best in this town after so many years.
