KAYAL NIDHI LIMITED is located at 228-A on South Maret Street, right in the heart of Madurai South. This is a very busy area with a lot of shops and people constantly moving about. Our office is tucked into this bustling environment, and we have become a small fixture on the street. We deal with Nidhi transactions, which mostly means helping local people save a bit of money or get a small loan when they need it. The office is not large. It is a functional space where we keep our computers and all the paper files that have piled up over the months. We do not have any interest in looking like a big city bank with marble floors. We prefer the simple setup we have here. People from the neighborhood stop in frequently, sometimes just to say hello or to settle their accounts. It is a lot of manual entry and making sure the numbers add up at the end of every single day. The heat in Madurai can be something else, so we keep the door open to catch whatever breeze comes off the street. We do not put out advertisements or try to convince anyone of anything.
