Kasthuri Priya Hospital

Kasthuri Priya Hospital sits at No 83 Alagar Koil Road in Melur. It’s a familiar sight for anyone living around here. The road is a main one, so there is always a bit of traffic passing by, especially during the day. Our hospital is a place where the local community comes when they aren't feeling well. We have a front desk that usually has a stack of papers and a phone that rings quite often. The waiting room has some old magazines and enough chairs for a dozen or so people. It’s not a huge place, but it serves the town well. You might see some of the staff taking a quick tea break near the back entrance when things slow down for a minute. The walls are a plain off-white color and we have some charts hanging up here and there. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. We focus on the basic stuff like helping patients get better. Melur is a place where everyone knows everyone, so it's common for patients to chat with each other while they wait. We’ve seen kids grow up and bring their own kids here over the years. It’s just a part of the local landscape. Nothing flashy, just a solid building with people working hard inside. The sun hits the front of the building in the morning, making it quite warm until we turn the fans on.
