Kansai Nerolac Paints

Down in Madurai, we are set up at 13/20 Parkroad in Gnanaolivupuram. It’s a lively neighborhood. Being part of the Kansai Nerolac Paints team here means we see a lot of people looking for specific shades. The office isn't very large, but it serves us well. We have stacks of color cards and paint cans around. Tamilnadu heat can be something else, so we keep the windows open for a breeze when we can. Gnanaolivupuram has a lot of character. We have been on Parkroad for a while now. The staff here knows the local area well. Sometimes we have to explain to delivery drivers exactly which building we are in because the numbering can be confusing. We spend our days checking inventory and talking to local contractors. It is a lot of talk about finishes and weather resistance. We aren't fancy people. We just know our paints. The floor usually has a few scuffs from moving crates around. We don't mind. It shows we are working. In the evenings, the street gets really busy with people going home. We usually wrap things up around then. It is a good place to work if you like being around people. We just keep things moving and try to help anyone who walks through the door. It is just another day at the shop for us in Madurai. The temple bells can sometimes be heard from here too. It feels right being a part of this community.
