Jeyam Webservices Private Limited is located at 4/167/4 in Muthtammal Colony. It’s a quiet residential neighborhood for the most part, which makes it a calm place to work. Our office isn't very large. It’s basically just a couple of rooms that we’ve converted into a workspace. We have our computers set up, and we spend most of our day there. We don't have a marketing team or people who go out to find new business. Most of the people who work with us heard about us through someone else they know. We think of ourselves as a local business, even though we work on the web. The name "Jeyam" means success, but we don't go around shouting about it. We just focus on keeping our systems running and helping out whoever calls us. Sometimes the neighborhood kids are playing outside, and you can hear them through the windows. It’s not a sterile corporate environment at all. We have a small kettle for making coffee and we keep some biscuits in a jar for the afternoons. There aren't any big posters about "innovation" or anything like that on our walls. We just have a few calendars and some notes pinned up. We like the slow pace of the colony. It helps us focus on the technical stuff without feeling rushed by the world outside. It's a modest setup, but it works perfectly for what we need to do every day.
