Jebam Hospital

Jebam Hospital sits right on Theni Main Road in Arasaradi, so it's pretty easy to spot if you’re driving by. We’ve been at No 13 for a long time now. It’s a loud area with all the buses and trucks going past, but once you step inside, it gets a lot quieter. We aren't a high-tech center with robots, just a group of people who know how to take care of patients. The building is a bit older, and the paint is a dull shade of yellow, but it’s clean inside. We have a pharmacy right there in the front, which makes things easier for people who don't want to walk far for their medicine. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we’re more like a big family than a group of coworkers. We see a lot of people coming in for checkups or when they've got a bad cough. It’s a very local atmosphere. Sometimes we run out of chairs in the morning and people have to stand for a bit, but nobody seems to mind too much. We don't have any big mission statements on the walls, just some signs telling you where the different wards are. We just focus on seeing the patients and making sure they’re okay before they leave. It’s a steady kind of life here on Theni Main Road, and we’re glad to be part of the community in Arasaradi.
