Jag Laxmi

You can find Jag Laxmi at No 26/1/6 on Bharakath Street. We are located in Yagappa Nagar, which is over in the Vandiyur area. It is a small place but it’s where we do all our daily work. We’ve been here for several years now and have become a part of the local landscape. The street is usually full of life, with people going about their business and neighbors chatting on their doorsteps. Our shop is quite simple. We have a counter, some shelves, and a back room where we store our items. We don't have any big, shiny signs or expensive lights. We just keep the place tidy enough to work in. Most of our customers are people from around Vandiyur who have known us for a long time. We don't spend any money on advertising because word of mouth seems to work just fine for us. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoons, so we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s ours. We handle everything ourselves, from cleaning the floors to managing the accounts. We don't believe in having a lot of rules or a corporate way of doing things. We just try to be fair and do a good job every day. Bharakath Street can be a bit crowded during the festival times, but we like the energy of it.
