Our facility is located on the Madurai-Melur Road in Vellaripatti. It’s a bit of a drive out from the main city area, but it gives us the space we need for our work. We work on fiber optic sensing, which might sound a bit complicated, but it’s mostly about using glass cables to measure things like temperature or pressure in different environments. Even though we are a subsidiary of TVS Sensing Solutions, we keep things pretty grounded and simple here at our site. The office and the lab are where most of the work happens every day. It’s a lot of quiet work, looking at data on screens and checking the fiber lines for any issues. We have a small team of engineers and technicians who really know their stuff and have been doing this for a while. The road outside can get very busy with trucks and buses going towards Melur, but inside the building, it’s usually quite focused and calm. We don't spend much time on marketing or trying to look bigger than we actually are. We just focus on the sensing technology and making sure it works correctly when it gets installed in the field. Sometimes we have to go out to remote areas to install these sensors, which can be quite an adventure in the local heat. We’re just a group of people who enjoy the technical side of the business. We don't have many long meetings; we just get on with the testing and the assembly. It’s a practical environment where we value getting the details right.
