You can find us at 2-3/8 Jehovah-Jireh in Thirunagar, right by the 6th stop. We are directly opposite the Amala Convent, so we are pretty easy to spot if you are looking for us. Being a detective in Madurai is a bit different than what you see in the movies. It’s a lot of waiting around, talking to people, and trying to find out things that someone else wants to keep hidden. We don't have a dark office with a spinning fan and a bottle of whiskey. It’s just a regular room where we sit and listen to people’s problems. Most of the time, it’s family stuff or small business disputes. We’ve been here in Thirunagar for quite some time now. People know us as the ones who ask a lot of questions. We try to be quiet about what we do because that’s the whole point of the job. It can be a bit slow some weeks, and then suddenly everything happens at once. We don't promise anything we can't do, and we don't use any high-tech gadgets, just common sense and a bit of patience. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which helps when we need to think. We are just regular people doing a bit of a strange job, helping folks find the answers they are looking for. It’s not always exciting, but it’s real work.
