Cholans Kitchen Equipment

Our shop is located at 61 Rose Nagar, right near the M R K Mahal. If you’ve spent any time in this part of the city, you probably know the area. Cholans Kitchen Equipment is basically what the name says. We have a lot of heavy metal stuff sitting around, from big burners to sinks and tables. It’s a bit crowded in here because kitchen gear takes up a lot of room. We spend a lot of time moving things around to make space for new arrivals. The floor is concrete and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy for that right now. Most of the people who come in are looking for something specific for their restaurant or a small food stall. We talk shop, figure out what size fits their space, and go from there. It’s dirty work sometimes, handling all that stainless steel and making sure everything is sturdy. We aren't really the type to wear suits or sit in air-conditioned offices all day. We’re usually out on the floor with a tape measure. The heat can get pretty intense during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going. It’s a local business and we’ve been part of this neighborhood for a while. People know they can find us here six days a week. We just do our thing and try to be helpful when someone walks through the door. It is a simple business.
