If you walk down West Masi Street in the Madurai Bazaar area, you’ll find us at number 70. We are right opposite Mrsp Bhavani & Co, which is a good landmark if you're trying to find the place for the first time. The street is always crowded with people and vehicles, so it’s a lively part of Madurai to work in. We deal with both the inside parts of houses and the outside walls too. It’s a mix of different jobs depending on what the customer needs that week. Some days we are looking at paints and textures for an exterior wall, and other days we are stuck inside figuring out where a cabinet should go. The office is tucked away in the bazaar, and it gets pretty loud with all the market noise outside. We usually have samples of tiles or wood lying around on the desks. It isn't a very tidy place, but that’s because there is always something going on. We talk to a lot of people from around the city who want to fix up their old houses or are building something new. It’s straightforward work. We take the measurements, talk about the materials, and get to it. Sometimes we have to wait for supplies to arrive through the narrow streets, which can be a bit of a headache. But that's just how things are in this part of town. We keep it simple and just do the work.
