Chandra Bai Hospital

Chandra Bai Hospital is located at No 93/44 Parathasarathy Street over in Ellis Nagar. It’s an older part of town and the street can be quite narrow with all the scooters and people walking by. Our hospital has been sitting here for years, and it looks like a typical local building. We have the usual rooms for patients and a small area where families can wait. It isn’t very modern, but we have what we need to help the people who live around Ellis Nagar. During the day, it gets quite warm, so we keep the fans going all the time. The staff here is mostly local people who have been working with us for a long time. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just open the doors in the morning and see who needs help. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when several people arrive at once, but we just handle them one by one. The records are mostly kept in big folders behind the counter. It might take a minute to find something if it’s an old file. People come to us because we are right here on Parathasarathy Street and they don’t have to travel far. It’s a basic setup, nothing flashy or expensive-looking. We just do our work and go home at the end of the shift. That’s the way it’s been for a long time now at Chandra Bai Hospital.
