Carborundum Universal Ltd

Our place for Carborundum Universal Ltd is situated in Sastha Nagar, which is part of the S. Alangulam area in Madurai. Specifically, we are at 12-4/79, near the Anaiyur Post. Madurai is a city that never really sleeps, but our corner here in Sastha Nagar is a bit more grounded. We handle industrial materials, mostly things related to abrasives and ceramics. It’s dusty work sometimes, but it’s what we know. The building is functional. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations because that’s not what we are about. We just need a roof and enough space to manage our stock and paperwork. The heat in Madurai can be something else in the summer, so we have a few fans going all the time to keep the air moving. We’ve been part of the local landscape here for a long time. People around here know the name, even if they don’t exactly know every single thing we make. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for years. They know the routines by heart. It’s not a complicated life. We show up, check the orders, and make sure everything is going where it should. Being near the post office is handy too. It’s a regular job in a regular part of town, and that’s just fine by us. There is always a lot to do before the day ends.
