Boondh Social Foundation

We are based at T-06 in the Vasudhara Project at 78 Tpk Road in Madurai. Boondh Social Foundation is just a small group of us trying to do some good around here. We aren't a big organization with hundreds of employees. It's just a handful of local people who care about what’s happening in our city. The office is inside a residential project, so it stays fairly quiet, which is nice for getting work done. We spend most of our time planning different social activities and trying to figure out how to be helpful. Madurai is a city with a lot of history and we feel proud to be working here. Our space is pretty basic. We have the usual stuff like computers and files, but nothing over the top. We aren't here to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just want to get things done. People often ask how we started. Honestly, we just saw a need and decided to put a name to our efforts. That’s how the foundation came to be. We don't have a lot of formal meetings. Most of our decisions happen over lunch or while we are out in the field. It’s a very informal way of working, but it keeps us connected to the people we are trying to help. Tpk Road is a good location for us. It’s central enough that we can get around easily. We like the local vibe of the Vasudhara Project.
