Bhadrakaliamman Traders

We’ve been here on Nethaji Main Road for a good while now. It’s a busy spot in Bibikulam, and most mornings start with opening up the shutters and seeing the traffic start to build up outside. The shop gets a bit dusty because of the road, but that’s just how it is. We keep a lot of different things in stock, mostly stuff people around here need for their daily work. It’s not a fancy place, just some shelves and a desk where we do the accounts. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. People stop by to chat even if they aren't buying anything, which is fine by us. My nephew helps out on the weekends when it gets a bit more crowded. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the boxes pile up in the back room more than they should. It’s a simple living. The tea stall next door makes a decent cup, so we usually have one around eleven. Bibikulam has changed over the years, more buildings and more cars now, but this corner stays pretty much the same. We know most of the faces that pass by every day. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything, but we manage. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights, just the name on the board above the door.
