You can find Balaji & Co at 15, Theni Main Road. We are really close to the railway station, so you can hear the trains passing by quite often during the day. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of people moving back and forth to catch their rides. Our shop has been here for a good while, and we’ve seen the road change quite a bit over the years. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic and the station announcements, but you get used to it after a week or two. We deal with various things here, mostly keeping stock of what people ask for most. The space inside is a bit tight because we try to fit a lot on the shelves. Sometimes I have trouble finding where I put a specific item, but I usually get there in the end. My cousin helps me out on the busy days when the station gets crowded. We don't have a fancy website or anything, just this physical spot where we show up every morning. The roof leaks a tiny bit when it pours really hard, but we've got a bucket for that. It's just a regular local business trying to stay steady. People stop in on their way to work or when they just got off the train. It's a simple life here on the main road. We don't make a big deal out of things, we just open the doors and get to work.
