Arvind Hospital

Arvind Hospital is right at 1 Anna Nagar in Madurai. Being at the start of Anna Nagar makes it easy for most people to find us. The building is a sturdy structure that has been part of this neighborhood for a long time. Inside, it feels like a typical hospital. There are long corridors with rooms on either side. We have the registration desk right at the entrance where a couple of us sit and handle the files. The walls are painted an off-white color that looks a bit yellowish under the lights. We have benches in the hallway for people waiting to see the doctor. It gets very hot here in Madurai, so we have fans going in every corner of the building. Sometimes the air feels a bit heavy, but we keep the windows open when there is a breeze. We spend a lot of time walking back and forth between the wards and the pharmacy. The staff is always busy with something, like changing sheets or checking temperatures. It isn't a high-tech place with glass elevators or anything like that. It is a practical hospital where we do the daily work of taking care of sick people. We see a lot of families coming in and out, often bringing food for their relatives who are staying with us. The sound of the street is always there in the background, but we just focus on the patients and the tasks we have to finish before the next shift starts.
