We’ve been here at Konar Complex for a while now, right on Theni Main Road. If you know where the TVS Rubber Factory is, we are just across from it. It’s a busy spot with all the trucks and traffic passing by all day. We are up on the second floor, so people sometimes miss us if they aren't looking up, but we’ve got our sign out. Most days it is just us handling the usual walk-ins looking for a new mixer or maybe a stove. People come in from the nearby villages and the city too. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons with the sun hitting the front of the building. We spend a lot of our time checking stock or helping someone figure out why their grinder stopped working. It isn't anything fancy here. We have the boxes stacked up and a few desks for the paperwork. Dealing with home appliances means there is always something to fix or a delivery to coordinate. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if you're carrying something heavy, but we usually help out with that. We know a lot of the regulars who have been buying from us since we opened. It’s just a normal workplace where we try to get things done and make sure the customers get what they need for their kitchens. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back. That’s just how it goes on this side of town.
