Ahamada Shoe Mart

Ahamada Shoe Mart is located at No. 44/2 on Matha Koil Street in K. Pudur. It’s a straightforward shoe shop where we keep a bit of everything for the family. We’ve got sandals, formal shoes, and some school shoes for the kids. The street is usually quite lively, and we get a lot of foot traffic from people heading to the church or the local markets. Our shop is quite small, so we have boxes stacked all the way to the ceiling. Sometimes it’s a bit of a struggle to find the exact size someone needs, but we always manage to dig it out eventually. We don't have any fancy displays or bright neon lights. It’s just shelves full of footwear and a couple of stools for people to sit on while they try things on. We spend a lot of time talking to the regulars. In K. Pudur, everyone seems to know everyone else. We try to keep our prices at a level that people in the neighborhood can afford. We aren't looking to become a big chain or anything. We just want to keep the shop running and make sure people have decent shoes on their feet. Some days are slow, especially when it rains and the street gets muddy, but we just sit and wait for the next person to walk through the door. It’s a simple life selling shoes to our neighbors.
