Agl Sports Garments

Being right near the Anna Bus Stand makes things very busy for us at Agl Sports Garments. We are at No. 15 Jawahar Street in Gandhi Nagar. Since we focus on sports stuff, we get a lot of younger guys and kids coming in. They are usually looking for jerseys or track pants for their local games. It’s a noisy area with all the buses coming and going, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We keep a lot of different sizes in stock because athletes come in all shapes. The shop is often full of bags and folded shirts waiting to be picked up. We do some of the printing right here in the back room. It smells like ink sometimes, but that’s part of the daily job. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything. It’s just the shop floor and a small desk where we keep the accounts. Sometimes the bus drivers stop in for a quick chat or to buy a simple t-shirt for their kids. It’s a good spot because everyone passes through the bus stand eventually. We try to keep the quality decent so the gear doesn't fall apart during a match. We aren't trying to be a global brand, just a place where local teams can get what they need without traveling too far. It’s steady work and we like seeing the local kids wearing our stuff on the fields.
