Working out of the Saraswathi Warehouse in Pasingapuram, Madurai, is quite different from being in a city center. Accent Logistics handles things for Tata Teleservices from this spot. It’s a large space at No 65/2B where we manage a lot of stock and moving parts. The warehouse is a bit of a distance from the main Madurai town, so it's quieter, but there is still plenty of truck movement. We spend our days checking inventory and loading or unloading goods. It’s dusty work sometimes. The heat in Madurai can be intense, especially in a warehouse setting, so we have a lot of fans going. It isn't a glamorous job, and our office doesn't have any fancy furniture. We just have what we need to keep the records straight. The people working here have been around for years. We know the routines. Sometimes the paperwork piles up, and we have to spend the whole evening sorting it out. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just make sure the items reach where they are supposed to go. Being part of the logistics chain means we are a small but necessary part of the whole system. We like it out here in Pasingapuram.
