Supreme Automotive Paint

Up here in Madikeri, the air is usually a bit damp because of the hills. Our place is 407 Bittangala, and we’ve been operating as Supreme Automotive Paint for a good bit of time. Kodagu is a beautiful place to live, but the rain makes it tough for painting cars sometimes. You have to wait for the right moment when the humidity isn't too high. The shop itself is pretty basic. We have rows and rows of cans, mostly for cars and trucks that get beat up on these winding mountain roads. I spend a lot of time talking to the local drivers who come in. They always have stories about the roads or the weather. My hands are usually stained with some color or another by the end of the day. It doesn’t wash off easy. We don’t have a website or any of that stuff. If people need us, they just drive up to Bittangala. It’s a small community, so word of mouth is how most people find out we are here. Sometimes the power goes out when there is a big storm, and we just sit and wait it out with a torch. It’s a slow way of doing business, but it suits the area. We just try to get the colors to match as best as we can with what we have. It is just about getting the job done before the next rain starts.
