Out here in Singhpur Tola, things don't move as fast as people might think. Saksham Rozgar Construction Private Limited is just a small office tucked away in the Singhpur Diyarapanch area. It’s a bit of a trek to get to Singhpur Deera Rupauli if the weather isn’t on your side. Most days are spent looking at maps or dealing with the trucks that struggle with the local roads. The dust gets everywhere, covering the files and the few chairs we have for visitors. We don’t have any fancy receptionists or big glass doors. It’s usually just a couple of us sitting around, checking on the latest site updates and making sure the supplies actually show up when they are supposed to. Sometimes the cement is late because a driver took a wrong turn or the road was blocked by cattle. That’s just life here. We handle the local construction needs, mostly small stuff that keeps the village moving along. People know where to find us by asking at the main crossroads. It isn’t a corporate lifestyle. It’s more about checking the brick quality and making sure the foundation is level while the sun beats down. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy with other people’s walls to worry about our own. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down over the fields.
