Operating out of Puraini, near Sarhad, is where Roop Nakoda Exim Pvt Ltd is set up. It’s a bit of a quiet spot out here in the Kumarkhand area compared to the bigger towns. We don’t get a lot of random foot traffic, mostly just the trucks and the people we deal with for the exim business. The roads out here can be a bit rough depending on the weather, especially after a big rain when the mud gets deep. We have a small, simple office where we handle the paperwork for all the shipping and receiving. It’s not a polished corporate environment at all; it’s more about getting the logs filled out and making sure the loads are ready to move. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the arrival schedules. Being near Sarhad gives us a sense of place, but it's mostly just about the daily work in front of us. The building is simple and strictly functional for what we need. We keep some basic furniture and a couple of old fans to try and beat the Kumarkhand heat in the summer. Most days are pretty similar, just tracking where things are and where they need to go next. We’ve been in this part of Puraini for a while now, so we know the local rhythms and the people.
