Om Nirmal Water

Our place, Om Nirmal Water, is easy to find because we are right near the petrol pump in Jay Nagar. Being in the Madhubani district, we get a lot of heat, so water is always on people's minds. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside. We have a few delivery cycles parked out front and some empty crates stacked up in the corner. The noise from the petrol pump next door is constant, with trucks and bikes pulling in and out all day long. We have a small desk in the corner where we keep the ledger and our phone. Most of the day is spent filling orders and talking to the drivers. It’s a family-run thing, so there’s usually a relative hanging around or helping out with the loading. We don’t really do any advertising. People just see the sign or hear about us from their neighbors. The floor is usually a bit wet from the tanks, so we all wear rubber boots while we work. It's a bit of a messy job, but it's what we do. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, and other times it’s completely quiet for hours. We take the time to fix the machines ourselves when they break down. There isn't a fancy repairman we call from the city. We just grab the tools and figure it out. It’s just honest work in a busy part of town.
