Mahran Chura Mill

We have been running Mahran Chura Mill here in Ward No. 1 for quite some time now. Being right near the Main Market in Laheriaganj village means there is always something going on around us. People from the village and nearby areas in Madhubani come by often. We mostly spend our days keeping the machines running and making sure the chura is coming out right. It gets a bit dusty inside the mill sometimes, but that is just how it goes with this kind of work. The mill is a busy place, especially during certain seasons when everyone needs their rice processed. We have lived in this part of Taluka Madhubani for years, so we know most of the faces that walk through the door. It is a simple setup we have here at the post office area of Laheriaganj. We don't have fancy office chairs or anything like that. Usually, you will find us checking the bags or talking to the farmers who drop off their grain. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we get back to it as soon as we can. It’s hard work, and our hands are rarely clean by the end of the shift. We just focus on getting the orders ready for the local shops. If you are walking through the market area, you can probably hear the hum of our equipment from a distance. That's just the sound of a normal day for us at the mill.
