Ib Micro Service Foundation

Ib Micro Service Foundation is based in a small village called Deuri Tola Deuri, which is part of the Samdablock in Benipatti, Madhubani. We work out of Ashlam’s house. If you know this part of Madhubani, you know it’s mostly farmland and small clusters of houses. It’s a long way from the big cities, and that is why we are here. We wanted to bring some basic micro-services to the people who usually have to travel a long way just to get simple things done. The house is always busy. There are kids playing outside and people coming by to ask questions about paperwork or small loans. We don’t have a fancy reception area. You just walk into the main room and someone will be there to help you. It’s very informal. We use a couple of old desks and some plastic chairs. Sometimes the electricity goes out for hours, so we just sit on the porch and continue our work there. We know everyone in the village, and they know us. That makes the work easier because there is trust already. We aren't trying to change the whole world; we just want to help our neighbors in Benipatti manage their lives a bit better. It’s slow work and can be frustrating when the weather is bad, but we are committed to staying right here in the village where we are needed most. We just keep moving forward slowly.
