Hanuman Tea House

Hanuman Tea House sits right in Ward No.30 of Bhauara Village, which is a pretty busy spot if you know the Madhubani Block. We are situated near the Maxwell School at Kotwali Chowk, so there are always kids running around and parents waiting nearby. Being close to the Police Line and the DM office means we see a lot of people in uniforms and government workers walking back and forth all day. It is a lot of movement to keep track of. The shop is old and the floor is a bit uneven in the corners, but it holds up. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just open the doors and see who comes in. Sometimes the traffic at the chowk gets backed up and the horns are loud, but we just keep working. We have a few benches where people can sit if they aren't in a hurry to get back to the office or school. The walls are covered with old calendars and a few things we have collected over the years. It feels like home to us because we spend more time here than anywhere else. It’s a messy, loud, and honest kind of place. We don't try to act like we are better than any other shop on the street. We are just here, doing our bit in the village.
