Gk Hospital

Gk Hospital is located right by the Bus Stand in Nirmali. If you are from around here, you know exactly where that is. Being next to the bus stand means we see a lot of people from out of town who are just passing through or coming into Nirmali for the day. It’s a very loud spot because of the buses honking and the conductors calling out destinations. Our entrance is often crowded with people waiting for their rides or looking for the hospital. Inside, we try to keep things as calm as possible, though the noise from outside still drifts in. We take care of many local families who have lived in Nirmali for generations. The building is older, and we’ve had to fix things here and there over the years. We have a few wards and a small emergency area for people who get hurt nearby. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. You won't find any shiny marble floors here, just plain tiles and basic furniture. We keep a lot of records on paper because it’s easier for us to manage. The staff lives nearby, so we all know each other well. It feels more like a community center sometimes than a cold medical facility. We are just open every day, trying to help whoever walks through the door near the bus stand.
