Gauri Shankar

Gauri Shankar is located in the village of Umari, which you get to via Jhanjharpur. It is a quiet place compared to the big cities, and things move a bit slower out here. Our setup is right in the heart of the community. We do not have a big corporate building, just a local spot where we handle our business. The roads leading here can be a bit rough after the monsoon, but we are used to that. Most of the people who work here are from the village or nearby areas. We know our neighbors and they know us. There is not a lot of technology or modern gadgets around the office. We still use paper ledgers for a lot of things because it is what we know. The building itself is older, with thick walls that keep it somewhat cool in the summer. We spend our days managing the daily tasks and talking to the people who stop by. It is a very personal way of doing things. We do not have a website or a big marketing team. People find out about us through word of mouth mostly. It is a simple, honest way to run things in Umari. We just try to be helpful and do our work without making much of a fuss about it. That is how things have always been here. We just take it one day at a time.
