We are over in Madhubani, at the house of Rajeev Kumar Deepak. The place is in Ward Number 8, right near Mandalji Chauk on the Rampatti Babubarhi Road. It’s a busy enough spot with people always passing by. We work with food and beverages here. Our day usually starts early, getting everything ready for whatever orders we have. The space is a bit cluttered with boxes and supplies, but we know where everything is. It’s not a sterile corporate environment. We have some old chairs and a table where we do the accounts. Sometimes the traffic on the road outside is so loud we have to shout to hear each other. We don't have any big mission statements. We just want to get the work done and go home. Most of our time is spent checking the stock or talking to delivery drivers. It gets very hot in the summer, and the fans don't do much, so we take a lot of breaks. We don't use fancy software to track things, just some old-fashioned ledgers. If something gets misplaced, we just look for it until it’s found. It’s a very hands-on way to run things. We are just local people working in our own neighborhood. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just do the daily work and keep things moving as best as we can.
