We are located in Harri village, which is part of the Andhratadhi area in Madhubani district. Our address is Ward Number 4, and we are based at Sidhi Nath Jha’s place. It’s a rural spot, zip code 847401. We called it Andhrathari'S Kalyani Krishna Foundation For Education & Development because we wanted to focus on those things right here at home. Lots of kids and families live around here in Harri. We aren't a big city organization with lots of money. We are just local people using what we have to help out. The foundation works out of a simple house near the Rudrapur police station. Life here is mostly about farming and small trades, so we try to fit education things into that. It’s not always easy, but we keep going. We spend a lot of time in the village talking to parents. People know where Sidhi Nath Jha lives, so they find us easily enough. We don't have any polished brochures or big marketing plans. We just want to see the village do alright over time. Madhubani is famous for its art, but we think the people are the real strength. We just try to support that however we can from our little corner in Ward 4. There is usually someone at the house if people have questions about the projects or development work. We try to keep our doors open for anyone in Ward 4 who wants to talk.
