Hari Om Traders

If you walk down toward Thana Chowk in Ward No 13, you’ll find Hari Om Traders. We are situated right near the HDFC Bank, so it’s easy for people to find us when they are out doing their errands. The shop has been here for a while, and it feels like a second home to most of us. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside sometimes with all the inventory we keep on the shelves. We don't have any flashy signs or big lights. Most of our customers are people from the neighborhood who have been coming to us for years. It’s nice to know everyone’s name and ask about their families. The mornings are usually the busiest when the shops first open and the traffic starts picking up near the bank. We spend a lot of time organizing things and talking to people who stop in. Sometimes the rains make the street a bit messy, but that doesn't stop people from coming by. We don't have a big corporate structure here; it’s just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. We keep a ledger for the accounts and try to stay on top of what’s coming in and going out. It is a simple way to earn a living, and we enjoy being right in the heart of the local market. It can get a bit hectic, but that's part of the charm of this area.
