Gonamounika Oil Seeds

Down here in Baramati, we have our place on Linking Road in Sai Ganesh Nagar. We are right off Bhigwan Road, which is a main route for a lot of people moving goods in and out of the area. We deal with oil seeds at Gonamounika Oil Seeds, so the whole place usually has a very specific earthy smell to it that you get used to after a while. It’s hard work, mostly involving bags of seeds and making sure they are stored properly so they don't spoil. The sun can get really hot in this part of the country, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done early in the morning before it gets too intense. Our address is number 2, and it is a simple setup with enough space for the bags and a small area for us to sit and do the accounts. We talk to farmers and traders all day, and it’s usually about the quality of the seeds or the current prices in the market. There aren't any big offices or fancy glass windows here, just a practical space that works for the kind of trade we do. People in Sai Ganesh Nagar are mostly working folks, so there is always a sense of everyone being busy with something. We like being on this side of Baramati because it is easy for the trucks to find us without getting stuck in the very middle of town. It is a good place to be.
