Vishnu Fabrics Pvt. Ltd. has its home in Srivilliputtur at Rukmani Gardens. We’ve been using Post Box 3 for a long time. The place is in Madavar Vilagam, which is a bit tucked away but easy enough to find if you know the area. We deal with textiles and fabrics, so the whole building smells like cotton and machinery. It’s an older facility with a lot of history to it. We don't have a modern glass office. Instead, we have high ceilings and lots of fans to keep the air moving. The workers here have been with us for many years. We follow a simple routine every day. The morning starts with checking the looms and seeing what the output looks like. We aren't a high-pressure corporate office. It’s more like a big family business where everyone knows their part. Srivilliputtur is a nice place to work, even if it gets very hot in the afternoons. We have some garden space around the building which is where the Rukmani Gardens name comes from. Sometimes people stop by just to see how the fabric is made. We don't have a fancy showroom. We just show the rolls of cloth as they are. It’s honest work and we take it one day at a time. The post comes through the box every morning and that’s how we handle most of our outside mail. It is a quiet but steady way to live.
