Gayatri Agricultural Traders

Our place, Gayatri Agricultural Traders, is over at Plot No. 21 on Ctm Road. It’s a practical location for what we do, which is mostly dealing with supplies that farmers and gardeners need. The shop usually smells like seeds and earth, which is something you get used to after a few days. We have bags of stuff stacked up in the back and on the sides, and sometimes it feels like we’re running out of room to walk. Ctm Road is busy with tractors and trucks, especially when the planting season starts. That’s when we’re the busiest, with people coming in early in the morning to get what they need before heading out to the fields. We don't have any fancy marketing tricks; we just show people what we have in stock and tell them the price. The floor is usually a bit dusty from all the sacks being moved around, but that’s just part of the job. We have a small desk where we do the accounts, and it’s usually covered in bits of paper and old pens. It’s a quiet life most of the time, punctuated by the noise of the traffic and the occasional chat with a regular who has been coming to us for years. We just try to keep the shelves full and the customers satisfied without making things complicated or adding unnecessary stress to the day.
