The A L A S R Hijama Cupping Therapy Center is located at 41-65 on Ctm Road, not far from Chittoor. It’s a quiet place where we focus on the traditional side of therapy. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is probably how clean and plain everything is. We have a few treatment rooms set up with the basic gear needed for cupping. It isn't a hospital or anything like that, just a local center where people come when they are feeling a bit run down or have some aches they can't get rid of. The Ctm Road can be quite busy with trucks and buses going past, but we’ve done our best to make the inside feel a bit more relaxed. We spend our day talking to people about their health and then getting to work with the cups. It’s a very hands-on job and we see all sorts of people from the Chittoor area. Some of them have been coming to us for a long time. We don't put on any acts or try to sound like doctors; we just know how to do this one thing well. The staff here is small and we mostly just look after the clients and make sure the place stays tidy between appointments. It’s a simple routine but it’s important to the folks who rely on us. Most of our work comes from people just telling their neighbors about us.
