Sri Venkateswara Fly Ash Bricks

You can find us at Plot No. 459, which is situated near Pedana Hussain in Palem. We don't make the traditional red bricks here. Instead, we use fly ash, which makes the whole place look a bit gray and dusty. It is a different kind of process. The machines we use are pretty loud and they run for most of the day. We spend a lot of time moving heavy pallets around. It is not an easy job and your muscles definitely feel it by the time evening rolls around. Palem is a decent area to work in, though it gets quite hot in the middle of the day. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights. Just a gate and the yard where we keep the finished bricks. Most of our days are spent just keeping the production moving. Sometimes the fly ash supply is late, and we have to wait around, which is frustrating. We have a small group of guys who have been with us for a while. We know the local contractors who come by to pick up their loads. We don't really do any big marketing or anything. People just know we are here at Plot 459 and they show up when they need something. It is just a regular local business trying to get the work done and move on to the next day.
