Gupta Kumar Electricals

We have been operating out of Door No 25/238 for quite a while now. You can find us right near the Jagannath Swamy Temple, which is a busy area most days. Our shop, Gupta Kumar Electricals, is mostly just shelves filled with wires, switches, and various spare parts for home repairs. It is not a big fancy showroom by any means. It is often a bit dusty and we usually have a few items sitting on the floor waiting to be sorted. People from around the neighborhood come to us when a fan stops working or they need a specific type of light bulb that they can't find elsewhere. We try to keep the basics in stock so no one has to go too far into the city. It is just me and a couple of guys helping out with the counter and the occasional repair job. We do not do any big advertising or have a polished sales pitch. Most of our customers are just people we see at the temple or neighbors we have known for years. We stay open until the evening usually. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the small space but we manage to find what people need. We just focus on getting the right parts to the right people. It is a simple way to run a business and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
