Our place, SSD Polymers, is located right near Hindu College over in Edepalli. We’re at Plot C-4 in the APIE area. Being so close to the college means there’s always some activity nearby, but once you step into our yard, it’s all about the polymer work. We deal with plastics and different materials that go into making all sorts of stuff. The warehouse is usually full of sacks and pallets, so you have to watch your step when walking through. It’s not a shiny corporate office; it’s a working site with the smell of raw materials in the air. We’ve got a handful of people who’ve been here since the start. We mostly just focus on getting the mix right and making sure the machines are running without too much trouble. Sometimes a machine breaks down, and we all have to pitch in to get it fixed by evening. That’s just how it goes here in Krishna district. We don’t go in for big speeches. We just handle the orders from local shops or bigger factories. The heat can be a bit much in the afternoons, but we take our tea breaks and get back to it. Most people around Edepalli know where we are if they need something polymer-related. It’s a straightforward business, and we try to keep things running smooth without a lot of fuss. We've been at C-4 for enough years that the college kids walking by are a familiar sight.
