Battery World

We are over at Battery World, right on Plot Number 1 on Nethaji Street in Devi Nagar. We are easy to find because we are close to the Congress Office and the Nageshwar Swamy Temple. The shop is usually full of batteries of all sizes, from small ones for bikes to big ones for backup power at home. It’s a bit cramped in here because of all the stock, but we make it work. I spend most of my day testing old batteries or charging up new ones. The floor is concrete and often has a few scuffs from moving heavy lead-acid batteries around. We get a lot of people coming in when their cars won’t start or when the power goes out in the neighborhood. I have a small bench in the back where I do the repairs. It’s a bit of a messy job with the acid and the cables, but I’ve been doing it long enough that I don’t mind. The street outside is usually busy with people going to the temple, so there’s always something to look at. We don't have any flashy lights or a big marketing budget. We just keep the shelves stocked and help people get their power back. It’s a simple shop and we treat everyone who walks in like a neighbor. That’s just how we do things here in Devi Nagar, keeping it local and straightforward for all the folks who drop in.
