Calypso Overseas

At Calypso Overseas, we operate out of units 34 and 35 in Laxmi Market. Having two spots next to each other gives us a bit more room to breathe, which is nice when things get busy. Laxmi Market is a crowded place, and there’s always some kind of commotion going on in the hallways. We’ve been here for a good while, so we know most of the other shopkeepers by name. Our space is mostly taken up by boxes and paperwork. It’s not a place designed for looks; it’s designed for getting work done. The lights in the market are a bit dim sometimes, but we have our own lamps inside to keep things bright enough to see what we are doing. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking through files. The market can get quite hot in the summer months, and the noise from the street outside carries up to our floor. We just deal with it as it comes. Sometimes the delivery guys have a hard time finding a place to park, so we end up helping them unload stuff quickly. It’s a bit of a chaotic environment, but we’ve found our own rhythm within it. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay on top of everything. It’s a solid place to work, even with all the market noise. We just keep the doors open and do our bit.
