R.M. Rajapurkar & Co. is located in Ward No. 16 of Chaudhary Colony in Bikaner. It’s a dusty part of Rajasthan, but that’s just how it is here. Our office isn't very big, and it’s right in the middle of a residential area, so it feels very local. We handle various tasks that involve a lot of paperwork and visiting different offices. Sometimes the heat in Bikaner gets so bad we have to take a long break in the middle of the day. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just some old ceiling fans that spin as fast as they can. We've been around for a while, and most people in the colony know who we are. It’s a quiet kind of work. We spend our mornings sorting through mail and our afternoons meeting with people. It’s not a high-pressure environment, which is nice. We try to be helpful when people come in with questions, even if they aren't our regular clients. The office has a bit of an old-fashioned feel to it, with wooden cupboards and stacks of ledgers. We haven't changed much over the years because this way works for us. It’s just a humble business run by local people who understand the way things work around here. We don't need much more than a desk, a pen, and a bit of patience to get through the day. It is just steady, practical work.
