Auroville Printers

Auroville Printers is tucked away behind the supermarket in Lunawada, which is in the Mahisagar district. It is a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main road, but being behind the supermarket means there is always some activity nearby. Our workshop is full of the smell of ink and the sound of paper being moved around. We have got some older machines that still do the job just fine, even if they are a bit loud sometimes. The floors are usually covered in some scraps of paper by the end of the day. We do not have a fancy front office; it is mostly just the printing area where everything happens. Lunawada is a small enough town that most people find us by word of mouth. We spend a lot of time checking the prints and making sure the colors are not bleeding. Sometimes the heat in Mahisagar gets to be a bit much, so we have a couple of ceiling fans that stay on all day long. It is a basic setup, but it allows us to do what we need to do. We handle things like wedding cards or local notices, whatever the people in town need. It is not a high-tech operation, just some honest work with paper and ink. We close up in the evenings when the supermarket crowd thins out. It is just our little printing shop in a quiet corner of the district.
