White House Travels

We’ve been here at the White House Bldg right by the Ludhiana Bus Stand for quite a while now. It’s a busy spot, as you probably know if you’ve ever had to catch a bus around here. People come in all day asking about tickets or where the next coach is heading. We just handle the travel stuff from this small office. It isn’t anything fancy, just a desk and some chairs where we try to get things sorted for travelers. Most of the time, we’re dealing with folks who are in a bit of a rush to get somewhere. We know the routes and the timings pretty well because we see them every day. If you are walking past the bus stand and see the building, that’s us. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know the local roads and how to get from A to B without too much fuss. Sometimes the phones ring off the hook and it gets a bit loud with the buses outside, but that is just how it is working in this part of town. We just try to help people get their seats booked and get on their way. There’s no big secret to what we do, we just show up and keep the books moving so nobody gets left behind. It’s been our routine for years and we’re used to the noise and the crowd now. We're just here doing our job.
