Our place, Vardhman Textiles Limited, is in the Salem Tabri area of Ludhiana. The exact spot is B-25, 347/47/1, over in New Kartar Nagar. If you know Ludhiana, you know Salem Tabri is a busy part of town with a lot of small industries and houses all mixed together. We are part of that fabric. The office and the workspace are practical and geared toward getting the textile work done. We have got some long street numbers, but once you find New Kartar Nagar, we are right there. The workers here are mostly locals who have been in the textile game for a long time. It is a noisy place, Ludhiana always is, but we like the energy. We aren't some big polished firm with glass walls. We are in a regular building in a regular neighborhood. Every morning the shutters go up and we start the day's tasks. There is always a lot of tea drinking and talking about the day's work. We manage the textiles and the logistics right from this spot. The roads around here can be a bit tight, especially when the delivery vans are trying to get through. But we have been at this location for a good while, and we know how to handle the daily rush. It is just honest, local work that keeps us going in Punjab. We just keep our heads down and get the shipments ready for the day.
