Vardhman Special Steel Ltd

Our setup is at C-58 in Focal Point. It's a big industrial zone and we’ve been here for a long time. Steel is what we do, specifically the special grades that take a bit more effort to get right. The plant is usually loud and there’s a lot of heat coming off the furnaces. It’s not a job for everyone, but our crew is used to it. We have heaps of scrap and finished bars stacked up all over the yard. It might look a bit disorganized to someone just walking in, but we know where everything is. We don't spend money on shiny signs or a fancy front office. We’d rather put that into the equipment we use every day. Some days are harder than others, especially when a machine breaks down and we all have to pitch in to get it running again. We’ve seen the steel market go up and down over the years, but we just stay focused on what’s in front of us. Most of the guys here live nearby, so it’s a local crowd. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words. We just make the steel, load the trucks, and get ready for the next batch. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we stay late if a big order is due or if the logistics get messy. We just take it as it comes and keep the furnace burning.
